He is survived by: his son Wade J. Cline (Debbie) of Conover; his grandchildren, Dana Cline Killian and Wendy Renee Cline; his great grandchildren, Gavin Alan Killian and Brianna Ellen Killian; his siblings, Violet Cline Deal of Hickory, Patricia Cline Hefner of Taylorsville, Carolyn Cline Hines (David) of Taylorsville, Luther Cline (Margery) of Taylorsville and Fred Cline (Helen) of Asheville; and his sisters-in-law, Shirley Cline of Conover, Katelyn Windsor, Kisha Rector, Mary Griffith, Sandra Austin, Sarah Embler, Jeannie Godfrey, Ruth Holt and Elizabeth Mullinax.
