He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Lorene Brown Brookshire; his daughter Tina Brown of Hickory; his granddaughter Katie Brown of Hickory; his brother Ronald Brookshire (Brenda) of Wilkesboro; his nephews, Brian Brookshire (Tracy) of Siler City, Barry Brookshire (Jodi) of Maiden and David Brookshire (Marsha) of Grundy, VA; and his close friend Eric Parks of Taylorsville.
