He was predeceased by: his parent Ode Kerley; and his brothers, Royde Kerley, Waitsel Kerley and Harold Kerley. He is survived by: his parent Annie Blackwelder Kerley; his spouse Betty Fortner Kerley; his sons, Lorne Kerley and Ray Kerley (Stephanie); his siblings, Phyllis Mays, Wayne Kerley and Dan Kerley (Dorothy); his grandchildren, Elijah Kerley and Madie Kerley; and his nieces and nephews, Lisa Ray, Valerie, Jenny, Jamie, Julie, Arland and Michael.
