He is survived by: his son Hasani "Shani" Mayes; his wife Maggie; his grandchildren, Jalen of Taylorsville, Lydia Mayes of Taylorsville and Deyawna Rollinson of Kings Mountain; his siblings, Glenda Bowers (Tony) of Lenoir, Leroy Green (Penny) of Columbus, OH, Sanford Teague (Celia) of Hickory and Garfield Teague (Lisa) of Taylorsville; his aunts, Gracie Howell and Lacie Teague; and his significant other Wanda Kay Mayberry. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
