She was predeceased by: her parent Oscar T.. She is survived by: her parent Rebecca Bentley Childress; her daughter Kathy Bentley of Lenoir; her grandson Wesley Baird of Hickory; and her sister-in-law Ellen Childers of Taylorsville. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
