He is survived by: his wife Myrtle Adams; his daughters, Gail Mossholder (Nick) of Taylorsville and Phyllis Blevins (Jimmy) of Moravian Falls; his grandsons, Anthony Benson (Courtney) of Glendale Springs and Joshua Benson of Moravian Falls; his great grandchild Noah David Benson of Glendale Springs; and his sister Francis McManus of Wilkesboro. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
