He was predeceased by: his parent Oficeus Dyson; his wife Janelle Eisenhour Dyson; his son Michael Maynard Dyson; and his sisters, Ethel Fox, Reba Price, Sybil Mitchell, Ruby Chapman, Ruth Fox and Hilda Chapman.
He is survived by: his parent Julie Barnes Dyson; his grandchildren, Mikey Dyson (Tina) and Kristy Dyson Matthews (John); his great grandchildren, Joshua Spain and Jacob Spain; his sister Bobby Jean Miller; and his daughter-in-law Betty Dyson.
