He was predeceased by: his siblings, Bryant Johnson, Woodrow Johnson, Owdis Johnson, Mayford Johnson, Glenn Johnson, Fred Johnson, Tommy Johnson, Homer Johnson, Denver Johnson, Annie Johnson, Nellie Johnson Hayes and Mildred Johnson Woodie; and his sons, Wayne Johnson and Johnny Johnson.
He is survived by: his parents, Noah Johnson and Florence Church Johnson; his wife Gracetene Treadway Johnson; his children, Linda Johnson Revis of Millers Creek and Bruce Johnson (Lorna) of Wilkesboro; his grandchildren, Laura Revis Elmore (Jeffrey) of North Wilkesboro, Scott Revis of Millers Creek, Jessica Johnson Barlow (Lester) of Wilkesboro, Kristen Johnson Yost (Matt) of Charlotte and Megan Johnson of Millers Creek; his great grandchildren, Katie Hubbard of North Wilkesboro, Colin Barlow and Camden Barlow of Wilkesboro; and his brother Richard Johnson (Eugina) of Raleigh.
