He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Betty Pennell Head and John Russell Adams; his wife Betty Sue Sharpe Adams; his children, Kelly Adams Hallman (Jared) of Conover, Kerry Adams of Newton and Christopher Russell Adams of Hiddenite; his grandchildren, Kora Hallman, Kenna Hallman, Emma Adams, Jacie Adams and Charlee Adams; and his siblings, Jean Jennings (Ricky), Hazel Millsaps (Jackie), Carolyn Stutts (Tim), Sandy Jolly (Junior), Henry Adams (Deana) and Michael Adams. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
