He was predeceased by: his parent Gordon McFarlin. He is survived by: his parent Althea Smith McFarlin; his wife Norma T. McFarlin; and his children, Michael Keith McFarlin (Cindy) of Hickory, Kimberly Lynn Stephens (Michael) of Epson, NC and Kevin Wayne McFarlin (Lisa) of Hickory, NC. He is also survived by six grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
