He is survived by: his wife Jennifer; his daughter Katie; his parents, Dennis Ester (Karen) of Catawba and Teresa Bumgarner (Randy) of Hiddenite; and his brothers, Matthew D. Ester of Hickory, Jason Bumgarner and Darren Bumgarner of Taylorsville.
