It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elsie Amato (Taylorsville, North Carolina), who passed away on November 11, 2018, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherron W. Williams and Elsie Pearl Hodges; and her brother Sherron L. Williams of Fort Worth. She is survived by: her brother Dan Williams of Fort Worth, Texas; her children, Deborah Mayfield Cody of Taylorsville, NC, Natalie Biffle Hefner (Terry) of Taylorsville, NC and Rebecca Biffle Moolhuysen (Roy) of Tucumcari, NM; her grandchildren, Jay Mayfield of Sandpoint, ID, Casey Mayfield (Megan) of Hauser, ID, Caitlin Hefner Davis (Trevor) of Raleigh, NC, Nathan Gage Hefner (Breeanna) of Taylorsville, NC and Amber Nicole Rivera of Tucumcari, NM; and her great grandchildren, Cassie, Cole Mayfield and Samuel Blake Hefner.
