It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christine Hines (Taylorsville, North Carolina), born in Alexander, North Carolina, who passed away on June 11, 2018, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Ransome Andrew Frye; her husband Roy David Hines; her siblings, Harold Frye, Donald Leon Frye, Mabel Gantt, Louise Miller and Marie Buchanan; her brothers-in-law, Euell Gantt, George Miller and James "Jim" Buchanan; her niece Sonya Rector; and also Jacob Frye.
She is survived by: her parent Minnie Belle Hefner Frye; her son Dion Hines (Jamie) of Taylorsville; her sister Linda Rector (Larry) of Taylorsville; her sisters-in-law, Lou Ann Frye and Nereida "Rita" Frye; her grandchildren, Sydney Hines, Josie Hines, Esther Benfield and Jamison Benfield; her nephews, Rickie Gantt (Sandra), Mark Gantt (Sheila), Terry Buchanan, Eric Frye (Dana) and Terry Frye; and her niece Julia Rhyne (Dennis).
