He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Regina Bennett Howard (Eddie Howard, Jr.) of Rock Hill, SC and Tracy Lee Bennett of Lenoir; his stepdaughter Tongia Bettis of Lenoir; his grandchildren, Mykel Lee Bennett and Chantel Ali Bennett; and his sister Cyinthia Dula (Everett) of Taylorsville. He was also cherished by two nephews, a niece and numerous cousins.
