He was predeceased by: his mother Hazel Williams Eden; his son Billy Ray Moore; his stepfather Tom Edens; and his daughter-in-law Leta Bateman. He is survived by: his wife Lois Ann Hudson Moore; his children, Eric Bateman of Tarboro, Michelle Langston (Chris) of Snow Hill and Amy Vause of Tarboro; his sister Tammy Mobarry (Clark) of Maryland; and his stepbrother Tom Burleson (Nancy) of Tennessee. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family friends, and other extended relatives.
