He was predeceased by: his former wife Shirley Ann Williams Morgan; his grandson Christopher Wesley Grooms; his mother Ida Gray Morgan; and his sister Helen Morgan Ange. He is survived by: his father Richard Montgomery Morgan; his wife Goldie Poindexter Morgan; his children, Donna Gayle Ott, Ralph Thomas Walston (Gayle) and Johnny Lewis Lee (Lisa); his grandsons, Nicholas Morgan Todd (Angela), Jonathan Richard Lee (Denise) and Brenton Alan Todd; his siblings, James Edward Morgan (Nancy), Clarence Morgan (Anita), Hazel Morgan Joyner and Betty Morgan Dixon; his siblings-in-law, Martha Williams Keel and Ronnie Williams; and his stepchildren, Annette Poindexter Bradford (Monty), Malcom Poindexter (Sherry) and David Poindexter. He is also survived by his family and is remembered as a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.
