He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Proctor and Hattie Wainwright Proctor; his son Donald Wayne Davis, Jr.; his sister Gail Moore; and his granddaughter Jessica Leanna Walston.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda H. Proctor; his children, Michael Jerome "Jay" Proctor, Jr. (Sandi) of Tarboro, Steven Dale Davis (Donna) of Pinetops, Kristie P. Reason (Mikey) of South Carolina, Lisa Marie Proctor (Brian Joyner) of Rocky Mount and Jasmine Nicole Walston; and his siblings, Albert L. Proctor, Jr. (Ann) of Tarboro, Linda Proctor of Morehead City, Delores Proctor of Tarboro and Randy Proctor of Princeville. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
