He is survived by: his children, Benjamin Spencer of Conetoe, NC, Linwood Spencer, Jr. of Pinetops, NC, Alvin Carraway of West Haven, CT, Tonya Smith of Macclesfield, NC, Angela Spencer of Rocky Mount, NC, Brenda Hopkins of Tarboro, NC, Amanda Anderson of Greenville, NC and Cassandra Anderson of Greenville, NC; and his sister Leatha Powell of Richmond, VA. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren, other loving relatives, and friends.
