She was predeceased by: her parents, Clara Zimmerman and Oscar Franklin Thompson; her daughter Susan Williams Moore; and her siblings, Bobbie Thompson Massey, Bonnie Thompson Hagan and Robert Bruce Thompson.
She is survived by: her son Frederick Alton Williams III; her son-in-law Thomas Jordan Moore; and her grandchildren, Thomas Jordan Moore III, Nathaniel Chase Williams Moore, Clara Calloway Williams, Hayden Aubrey Ezzell and Ryder Brent Ezzell.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions in memory of Judy may be made to Calvary Episcopal Church in Tarboro or to UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center.
