It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jose Oviedo-Diaz (Tarboro, North Carolina), who passed away on January 16, 2021, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Francisco Oviedo-Gamez and Fidencia Diaz; his wife Elsa Hernandez-Valades; his children, Jose Luis Oviedo-Hernandez, Hector Oviedo-Hernandez and Elsa Oviedo-Hernandez (Fernando Rodriguez) of Pinetops, NC; his siblings, Francisco Oviedo, Abel Oviedo, Arturo Oviedo, Raul Oviedo, Claudia Oviedo, Juana Maria Oviedo and Aracely Oviedo; and his grandchildren, Melany Rodriguez-Oviedo, Kenia Rodriguez-Oviedo and Fernando Rodriguez-Oviedo. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
