He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Denton and Edith Warren Denton; his wife Margie Denton; and his brother Raymond King. He is survived by: his siblings, Robert Denton, Jr. of Tarboro, Harold Denton (Teresa) of Crisp, Donald King of Tarboro, Lois Williams of Tarboro and Edith Scott of Tarboro; and his niece Tiffany Denton of Rocky Mount. He is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, and other extended relatives.
