It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Clarence Charles Bauer (Tarboro, North Carolina), born in Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away on September 22, 2023, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence George Bauer and Ethel Josephine Hoendel Bauer; his brothers, Ray Bauer and Roy Bauer; and his grandsons, David Geaniton, Nicolas Fiumara and Chris Bauer.

He is survived by: his wife Janie Bauer; his children, Don Bauer (Sandy), Steve Bauer (Lois), Bill Staudt, David Bauer (Ursula), Becky West (Ward), Patti Scott (Snookie) and Debbie Hackney; and his grandchildren, Steven Bauer, Jennifer Crider, Mary Margaret Johnson, Justin West, Tina Davis, Bobby Stokes, Samantha Bauer, Donna Williams, Lindsey Bauer, David Bauer, Andrew Bauer, Michael Bauer and Angela Thompson.
