He is survived by: his wife Lillie Gunter; his children, Kelvin Earl Gunter, Timothy Lamont Gunter of Tarboro, Calvin Gunter Jr. of Washington, DC. and Shereece Jones; and his siblings, Roger Gunter Jr., Melvin Gunter (Juanita) of Pinetops, Cynthia Gunter of Greenville, Ella Mae Gunter of Greenville, Delois Gunter of Greenville, Hilter Speight (James) of Greenville and Vera Brown of Winterville. He is also survived by nephews, cousins and friends.
