We are sad to announce that on June 28, 2023, at the age of 101, Bettie Doughtie Dew (Tarboro, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Doughtie and Martha Harrell Doughtie; her husband Tommy L. Dew, Sr.; her son Travis Doughtie; her grandsons, Jeffrey Mitchell and Chris Doughtie; and her daughter-in-law Lena W. Doughtie.
She is survived by: her children, Janice Bland, Martha Ann Dew, Tommy L. Dew, Jr. (Donna) and Harry Doughtie. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
