She was predeceased by: her husband Ernest Wayne Barnhardt; her sons, Ernest Wayne Barnhardt Jr. and Charles Wiley Barnhardt (Chuck); and her siblings, Richard Jackson Caldwell, Glenn Everett Caldwell, Connie Louise Laforce, Virginia Adell Deal and Joyce Caldwell Laws.
She is survived by: her children, Elaine Johnson (David) of Statesville, Christine Justice (Greg) of Pikeville, KY and Gary Barnhardt (Irma) of Statesville. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
