He was predeceased by: his parents, Chalmer Sharpe and Ozell Cruse Sharpe; and his close friends, Foxy, JoJo and Penny.
He is survived by: his son Lee Sharpe; his siblings, Gerald Sharpe and Colleen Caldwell; his children, Martin Sharpe of Huntersville and Kelly Bruce (Ricky) of Statesville; his sister Joanne Walker of Charlotte; his grandsons, Shane Bruce and Jeremy Bruce; and his great grandchildren, Carolina Bruce and Dalton Bruce.
