He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Sherrill; his sons, Philip Sherrill (Jodi), Kevin Sherrill (Tonya) and Doug Sherrill (Wendy); his grandchildren, Nicholas Sherrill, Kaylee Sherrill, Leanna Sherrill, Josh Sherrill, Matt Sherrill, Mallory Sherrill, Ansleigh Sherrill, Lexi Rea Sherrill, Harrison Sherrill, Noah Sherrill and Thomas Sherrill; and his brothers, Hal Sherrill and Danny Sherrill.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the music ministry at Beulah Baptist Church.
