She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Douglas Houston and Barbara Nell Petty; her sister Rhonda Houston McKnight; her grandson Houston Alexander Finley; her aunt Nell Houston Hartgrove; and her son-in-law Charles E. Bayne, Sr..

She is survived by: her husband Robert C. Finley; and her children, Dawn Finley-Bayne and Robert D. Finley (Ginger). She is also survived by her dogs alongside her husband.
