We are sad to announce that on August 20, 2021, at the age of 87, Gilbert Coy Moore of Star, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Harrison and Ethel Brown Moore; and his siblings, Alma Ledbetter, Ruby Robinson, Thelma Brown, Myrtle Brown Bruce, Geneva Ritter, Roy Moore, Warren Moore and Kivan Moore.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Stone Moore; his daughters, Diane Nascimento (Fernando) of Orange Park, FL, Michelle Phillips (Bryan) of Carthage and Dana Smith (Wayne) of Seagrove; his stepchildren, Andy Sanderford, Chris Sanderford and June Caviness; his grandson Layne Martindale; his great grandchildren, Danielle Sundet (Cody Bales) and Corey Lee Sundet (Julianna); his great great grandchildren, Cohen, Alivia, Braylen and Noah; and his pet Shorty. He is also survived by four step grandchildren and seven step great-grandchildren.
