Walston; his stepchildren, Kathy Thigpen (late Larry), Ricky Whitley (Joanie), Wayne Whitley (Teresa) and Lynn Whitley; his sister Becky Wallace (Dwight) of Elm City; and his nieces and nephews, Kristy Barnhill (Kevin), Renee Mullen, Gina Bridgers (Chad), Keith Wallace and Brian Tomlinson. He is also survived by six step- grandchildren; ten step- great-grandchildren, and many great nieces and nephews.
