He was predeceased by: his grandfather Robert Julius Hinson; his nephew Jeffery Alan Hinson; and his stepfather J. C. Reynolds. He is survived by: his mother Betty Hinson Reynolds; his wife Leigh Daughety Surcy; his grandmother Peggy Hinson; his parents-in-law, J. Mac and Deborah Daughety; his brother Steven Ray Surcy (Sabrina); his uncle Rod Hinson (Donna); his aunt Frances Phillips; and his stepsiblings, Sandy Reynolds Jones, Johnny Reynolds and Chad Reynolds.
