She was predeceased by: her parents, James Roy and Cora Wade; her husbands, Dred Roland Edmundson Jr. and Johnnie West; her son Dred Roland "Rusty" Edmundson III; and her siblings, Cleo Wade Creech, Durwood Wade, Wilson Wade and Warren Wade.
She is survived by: her daughter Nancy Edmundson Adams (Jerry) of Stantonsburg; her sister Peggy Wade Gerkin of Goldsboro; her grandchildren, Amanda Adams Ary (Daniel Robinson) of Lewisville, Dred R. "Dee" Edmundson IV (Michelle) of Farmville, Jason Taylor (Allison) of Macclesfield and Jeremy Taylor (Lisa) of Rocky Mount; and her great grandchildren, Lofton Ary, Joshua Ary, Emma Taylor, Andrew Taylor, Chase Taylor and Ella Taylor.
