She was predeceased by: her parents, Mackie Hughy and Maude McKinney McCoury; her husband Frank Jones; her children, John Frank Jones and Sharon Jones Sronce; and her siblings, Bernice Woods, Jennie McCoury, Zelian, Lonnie, Frank, Carson and Johnny McCoury.
She is survived by: her son Lawrence Jones (Anita) of Newland; her grandchildren, James Vines (Sherry) of Morganton, Mackie Jones, Lola of Newland and Kella Phillips (Danny) of Newland; her great grandchildren, Tristan Jones (Brittany) of Newland, Megan Jones of Newland and Lauren Phillips of Newland; her great great grandchildren, Brinley Tolley of Newland and Ranger Jones of Newland; her brother Henry Grady McCoury of Maryland; her sister-in-law Catherine McCoury of Ohio; and her nephew Charles Wesley Jones of Roan Mountain, TN. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
