She is survived by: her husband W. R. Buchanan of Spruce Pine; her daughter Susan Autrey (Curt) of Burnsville; her grandchildren, Ginny Austin (Larry) of Spruce Pine and Brandon Wright of Spruce Pine; her great grandchildren, Remington Austin (Maggie), Maverick Austin, Marlee Austin, Briley Austin, Autumn, Mallory, Brooklyn, Natalie and Abigail Wright; her great great grandchild Holland Austin; her sister Laura Jane Byrd (Charles) of Spruce Pine; and her sisters-in-law, Estalene Hollifield of Marion, Hazel of Spruce Pine and Evelyn Hollifield of Spruce Pine. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
