She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Tipton and Azaleen Buchanan Tipton; her grandparents, Walter, Pansy Tipton, Otis and Annie Buchanan; and her nieces and nephews, Ann Hoilman, Wendy Vance, Matthew and Zachery Epps.
She is survived by: her husband Tony Hoilman; her children, Dale Buchanan (Karla) of Bakersville, Wendy Boone (Mark) of Bakersville, Nikki Webb (Jeff) of Spruce Pine and Amy Simes (Jason) of South Carolina; her sisters, Gale Deese (Harold) of Camden, SC, Kathy Tunks (Eddie) of Bakersville, Reba Vance (Tom) of Spruce Pine and Carol Autrey (Travis) of Bakersville; her grandchildren, Philip Buchanan (Michela), Garrett, Connor, Graham Buchanan, Erin Ward, Jessie, Gracie, Bubba Webb, Stephen, Emily, Peyton, Bodhi and Lily Simes; and her great grandchild Lily Grace Buchanan.
