Seth McKinney Obituary

He was predeceased by: his grandfather Paul Potter, Sr.. He is survived by: his parents, Heather Rickman (Andy) of Spruce Pine and Tony McKinney (Mariah) of Bakersville; his brothers, Alex McKinney and Tyler McKinney; his grandparents, Susan Potter of Crumpler, NC, Buddy McKinney and Belle McKinney of Bakersville; his great-grandparent Evelyn Jones of Warrensville, NC; his uncles, Bruce Biddix, Valarie Biddix of Spruce Pine, Paul, Jr. of Jefferson, Christina Potter of Jefferson, Gene Woods of Jefferson and Shannon Woods of Jefferson; and his close friends, Adam Gortney, Ben Robinson and Cara Heath.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Mitchell High School Athletic Department where a scholarship fund will be established in Seth's memory.
