He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Autrey and Ima Jean Clemons Autrey; and his sister Wilma Autrey. He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Autrey of Spruce Pine; his children, Robie A. Autrey and Riley Edwards; his stepdaughter Trisha Franklin of Spruce Pine; and his siblings, Rosa Whitt (J. B.) of Hickory, Derata Robinson (Richard) of Marion, James Autrey (Kim) of Sanford, Freddy Autrey of Union Mills and Rodney Autrey of Spruce Pine.

He spent a year working on our home and every day was an ‘event’ in energy, conversation and Robie’s hard work and ingenuity. He was a master in so many ways for which we’ve admired him ever since.
