He was predeceased by: his parents, Salvador Tehandon Cupa and Paulina Pineda Urbina. He is survived by: his sons, Mel Tehandon (Christopher Tehandon), Billy Tehandon of Missouri, Mario Tehandon of North Carolina and Pilo Ochoa (Fernando Ochoa) of Spruce Pine; his siblings, Jamie Tehandon of Spruce Pine, Abel Tehandon of Spruce Pine, Rey Tehandon of Spruce Pine, Mario Tehandon of Spruce Pine, Jose Tehandon of Illinois, Juan Tehandon of Missouri and Elena Tomas of Spruce Pine; and his stepmother Dorothy Fisher of Spruce Pine.
