She was predeceased by: her parents, Cliff McKinney and Virginia Suddreth McKinney. She is survived by: her husband Jim Howell of Spruce Pine; her son Dustin Howell of Hickory; and her siblings, Pat Sparks of Spruce Pine, Donna Jones of Spruce Pine, Diane Cook (Kenny) of Spruce Pine and Wayne McKinney (Wanda) of Marion.
