She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayman Johnson and Nellie Neal Johnson. She is survived by: her children, Irvin Barksdale (Wilma) of Spruce Pine, Emerson Barksdale (Betty) of Marion and Demaris McGuire (Joe) of Memphis, TN; her sister Ruth Morris of Augusta, GA; her grandsons, Greg Barksdale (Gail) and Jeremiah McGuire; her great grandchildren, Sarah, Alexis and Aiden; her stepgranddaughter Karen Young (Bud); her stepgreat-grandchildren, Ben and Ivy Young; and her cousin Jean Huddleston of Wrens, GA..
