She was predeceased by: her husband Samuel Allen Willis; and her mother Anna Mae Self. She is survived by: her children, Kathy Woody Crowder (Rick Crowder) of Bakersville and Allen Willis of Spruce Pine; her grandchildren, Jennifer Woody Sparks (Michael Sparks) of Bakersville, Joshua Willis (Mike Paskow) of Washington, DC and Samuel Willis (Amanda Willis) of Forest City; her great grandchildren, Dylan Woody, Luke Sparks, Samuel Ralph Willis and Henry Allen Willis; and her brother Bill Willis (June Willis) of Bakersville. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
