He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilburn Snyder and Grace Buchanan Snyder; his son David Snyder; and his siblings, George, Avery Snyder and Bessie Helms.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy B. Snyder; his son Stephen Snyder of Spruce Pine; and his sisters, Mary Biddix of Spruce Pine and Charlotte Hall of Georgia.
