She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Frank Delano and Jean Mace Grindstaff; her daughter Kaitlyn Ziegelmeier; her former husband Kurtis Paul Ziegelmeier; her adoptive son Trevor Briggs of South Toe; her siblings, Sherry Robinson (Guy) of Spruce Pine and Darryl McFalls; her nephew Dustin Grindstaff; and her cousins, Jesse Grindstaff (Victoria Jackson) and Marymae Grindstaff.
