With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Juda Sullins (Spruce Pine, North Carolina), who passed away on January 10, 2021 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parent Carter; and her sister Toni Sullins Buchanan. She is survived by: her sister Patricia Sullins Mann; her children, Athenia, Aaron, Alethea and Samantha; her grandchildren, Ashley, Joy, Chanda, Brooke, Damian, Tyler, Trevan and Noah; her granddaughter-in-law Tonia Harris; her great grandchildren, Aubrey, Madison, Tanner, Kenadie, Rylee, Trinity, Malachi and Baleigh; her nephews, Rodney, Marty, Darren and Pete; and her close friend Jean Skinner. She is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.

“I met Juda in the summer of 1976 when we worked together washing dishes in a swanky resort. She was kind, helpful and so funny! This was my first job, and Juda taught me the importance of doing a job right, showing up for work on time and having a positive attitude! Her dedication and incredible work ethic made an everlasting impression on me. Juda was my mentor, surrogate mother and wonderful friend. For 44 years, I treasured our friendship and will miss her so much! We have all lost a gift!”
