It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joy Williams (Spruce Pine, North Carolina), born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on April 23, 2018, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Lloyd Burleson; her husband Buddy Williams; and her siblings, Rudy Burleson and Jill Biddix. She is survived by: her parent Martha Louise Smith Burleson; her siblings, Morris Burleson (Judy) of Bakersville, Scott Burleson of Bakersville, Kay Goble of Gastonia, Barbara McClellan (Doug) of Newland and Naomi Gilbert of Lenoir; her nephew Jamie Burleson; and her children, Emily, Cody and Michael. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
