It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jimmy Burnette (Spruce Pine, North Carolina), who passed away on March 10, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Burnette and Daisy McKinney Burnette; and his brothers, Harley Burnette, Jr. and Roger Burnette. He is survived by: his daughters, Marsha Pitman (Lodie) of Spruce Pine and Lisa Cooke (Monroe) of Mountain City, TN; his grandchildren, David Wiseman, II, Justin Cooke, Chessnee Wiseman, Cassie Huskins and Mindy Murphy; his great grandchildren, Makayla, Jada, Lakeisha, Adrian, Madison, Mason, Aubree, Haley, Colten, Mackenzie, Kylie, Jason and Emily; and his great great grandchild Aurora. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
