It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jimmie Lee Blevins (Spruce Pine, North Carolina), who passed away on October 28, 2020, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Blevins and Mildred Cook Blevins; and his sister Judy Branch (Charles) of South Toe. He is survived by: his daughters, Sandra Williams (Van) of Grassy Creek, Stephanie McIntosh (Scott McIntosh) and Karen Peterson (Nick) of Ramseytown; his grandchildren, Samantha Burleson, Tyler Greene (Alex), Kasey Rash (Nick), Chanse McIntosh, Zeb Peterson and Alex Peterson; and his brother David Lawrence "Bub" Blevins (Gail) of Celo.
The family would like to say a special thank you to his nurse, Rebecca Hensley and all the staff of Hospice and Palliative Care of the Blue Ridge for the wonderful care given to Jim and asks memorial donations be made to them at 236 Hospital Drive, Spruce Pine, NC 28777.
