It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Pitman (Spruce Pine, North Carolina), who passed away on September 24, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Enlow Pitman and Lessie Biddix Pitman; her husband Jesse C. Pitman; and her brother Lee Ray Pitman. She is survived by: her children, Linda Pitman (Sid) of Spruce Pine, Dr. Rocky Branch (Janice) of Spruce Pine and Chris Pitman (Pam) of Bakersville; her grandchildren, Jeremy, Jennifer, Alicia, Aaron, Mallory and Jesse; her siblings, Polly Crowder of Spruce Pine, Ruth Ann Doane of Burnsville, C. L. Pitman (Peggy) of Black Mountain, Jim Pitman of Hampton, TN and Randy Pitman (Linda) of Newland; her sister-in-law Elsie Pitman of Statesville; and also, Claudia and David Honeycutt.
