He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Jason Anderson and Aletha Laws Briggs. He is survived by: his parents, Cindy Hensley Briggs of Spruce Pine and Howard Briggs of Bakersville; his stepmother Jewell Briggs of Bakersville; his sisters, Ashley Stevens (Jeremy) of Burnsville and April Coffey (Scott) of Hickory; his nephew Adam Elsaesser of Burnsville; his niece Kimberlynn Stevens of Burnsville; and his grandparents, Joe Brooks and Barbara Ann Hensley of Burnsville. He is also survived by Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
