He was predeceased by: his mother Irene Hoyle Buchanan. He is survived by: his siblings, Joretta Thomas (Jerald) of Newland, Janice Huskins of Spruce Pine, Sharon Silvers of Burnsville and Michael Hoyle of Spruce Pine. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
